Any recommendations for accomodation and places to go in Bintan? PLS HELP

hello fellow MCF-ers, im planning to share on a short 3D/2N trip to BINTAN.

 

anyone has anything to share on wad to do or to recommend when holidaying in BINTAN?

 

perhaps u guys can share the reasonably priced yet comfortable hotels located there as well? thank you for the kind inputs!

Been there a few years ago.. only can say is damn boring. Nothing much to do seriously.

 

But if you gg there with your bf/gf, its quite a good place to spend intimate time together...

nothing much ado..except relaxing...blow sea winds...drip sea water...snorking...couple SPAs....quite+peaceful night .... eating seafood @ night...

Angsana resort and spa..just beside the banyan tree bintan

 

belong to the banyan tree group.. dine at the the cove restaurant at banyan tree.. nice view and good food..

hmm.. for bintan... dining is pretty exp in the hotel itself.. previous time i went.. dinner is almost 100SGD for 2pax...

 

u can go for shopping at the Pasar Ole Ole... they have cafes there as well.. so can settle ur lunch there.. there will be shuttle bus from ur hotel one...

 

if u wan to have massage etc.. it will also be cheaper to do at the Pasar Ole Ole rather than at the Hotels/Resorts.

 

Pasar Ole Ole is like many 1 storey houses form a village like dat. Sells many i wud say

"branded" stuff esp Polo Ralph.

 

U can also go to the Ferry Terminal to do shopping at the Factory Outlet store.

 

the last time i went i stayed at Bintan Lagoon Resort... Not too bad.. but more hotel style.. not chalet style...
