It does happen. Three of my friends already got charged in court, fined and their licenses kantong-ed after TP clocked them at more than 200km/h in various performance cars. And although they're my friends, I say they deserve it.

most of them do it in NSH. in NSH, even if u are going at 120km/h, u might be slower than the trucks or coaches, so given a choice, i rather stay away from them than let them overtake me

 

my speed experience only on NSH many yrs back

 

1) proton saga - 140km/h

2) hyundai tucson - 160km/h

3) toyota vios - 195km/h

Well, I won't know if they will only speed on NSHW (even though its wrong). I bet some do it in SG as well. Hopefully, TP will come down very hard on speeders.

2006 Ford Focus = 165km/h (Heavy Hippo with Max Speed already, seem like engine locked no higher then 165km/h anymore.)

2010 3.5L murano =200km/h (Slightly floating, can go higher but car floating already)

 

In NSE. heading toward KL speed. FYI
