Fuel Consumption for VIOS (2008) model

Can any 1 share how is the fuel consumption like for the VIOS (2008) model?

1.5 auto, 16" sports rim.

mostly travel city. occassioanlly heavy footed.

my friend is getting 14 km/l. Stock E model, auto. occasionally heavy footed. 50 city/ 50 highway

i heard the old version of vios has better fc than the current model. but comfort the new one is better. anyway dun get vios. for same price can get face lifted latio . same fc

Does it make any difference after 1K servicing...? I am getting about 10.5Km/L now with 15% HW and 85 City..

I think that depends on the luck....

luck has got nothing to do with it.

 

- driving style

- stuff in car (junk in car/boot) adds weight (lady driver? - maybe she's small size)

- engine oil used

- tyre pressure

 

etc..

REALISTICALLY, it's about 13km/L with urban-highway combined. Inflated FC of 14-15km/L is most probably what the BM SE will tell you. It's FC is not as good as the older model anymore. It's a good compromise as it's more spacious than the previous model.

Does she do the right calculation?

Pump full tank. Reset counter. Run until almost empty. Pump full tank again. Take down total litre of petrol and record milage. Milage/litre of petrol.

I'm driving new model vios auto ..15inch rims with 195 tyres..

 

worst i gt is 12+km/l

 

best is 16km/l which happens when i drive at nite without the air con

 

but i have to admit i'm quite heavy footed sometimes

latio design not as nice as vios IMHO
