Qqguy Neutral Newbie October 24, 2008 Share October 24, 2008 I'm amazed Singaporeans still want to go JB. It's a place FILLED with criminals and conmen and shady characters! I'll never drive and park there! It's just way too dangerous! YOu can get robbed or your car can get stolen and vandalised! NO way man!

Spas Neutral Newbie October 24, 2008 Share October 24, 2008 All you need is ONE instance of crime to hit you. I've got relatives who run businesses there. Even they don't "hang around" JB. It's like a free-for-all there. It's slightly safer for Msians cos they know the land and know people. Singaporeans are prime targets in unfamiliar territory. It's not worth it for tens of dollars of savings. Even hundreds of bucks worth of savings isn't worth it. If anything happens, you'd give up millions to turn back time. The math is clear for me. I can only advise my fellow MCFers and hope they don't put themselves and their loved ones at risk. Guys please, most of you can afford cars. So you're not dead poor. So, you really think it's worth the risk? I'd risk money, but never personal safety. Even if you must go, go in a huge entourage. And I mean at least six guys. For every lady that tags along, there should be three guys to be ultra safe. That's advice I got from Msian friends.

Kb27 Supersonic October 24, 2008 Share October 24, 2008 I used to shop at that Carrefour, then found if you go further down towards pasir gudang, there's a Giant Plentong. Seems like more stuff there are cheaper. Don't worry about parking. Most shopping centre has large parking space and are generally free.
