Neutral Newbie

Anybody got recommendation on where to get magnetic shades for the newer gen swift?
I found a few products in Lazada/Shopee but reviews all mention similar things about bad fit for the front 2 doors. Please recommend me shades with good fitting

anyone still driving swift 1.5A 2009-2010 era from this generation like the car in the link? Any major problems need to lookout for given the age of the car, understand this model is using 4 AT and not CVT correct?

Yeah sadly most coe cars are selling around this pricing for those left 6 months to one year like that, depreciation all sky high. Dealers know that people desperate for cars will try and bite the bullet. 😪😞 https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/listing.php?BRSR=0&RPG=20&AVL=2&VEH=2&PRC=18&VTS[]=2

If only need to spend 6k to drive it for short term looks OK. Only scare the  bottomless pit unexpected repair costs along the way to keep it running🤣

Well is a gamble either pay 6k or 10K. Get it check first lor before commit. Anyway if you rent car daily for 6 months on the avg of $70 daily will cost you more than 12K so buy still cheaper🤣

yeah, it is the same for any car with less than 1 year to go. its a huge gamble as your repairs cannot be amortized over a longer period.

Although the swift is pretty robust, it depends on if it is flogged off if major repairs are due, could be aircon, gearbox etc.

Anyway just go see more and test drive then you get a better picture of what is out there.

If after buying liao got major problem, then no choice but to scrap off the car lo.

Last time i have one colleague bought a 9 year old car, only drove for a few months and the radiator leaked and beyond repair, no choice but to sell off the car and he never buy another used car ever again. 😅

Nice, you owned swift before?

yes kept it for about 4 years from 150kkm to 225kkm.  besides the regular service items like brakes, belts, spark plugs, battery and tyres only replaced a stabiliser bushing and aircon evaporator.
