hotcakeswithsausage Neutral Newbie August 21, 2021 Share August 21, 2021 @hotcakeswithsausage to add on, i started driving this car with a avg of 7.7km/L displayed on my information panel. My battery died once a month ago and the info on the panel reset itself. Now my avg is showing 6km/L (which is so much worst T_T) According to dealer, it is non modified (but I'm the 5th owner la so I'm not sure how true) I really want to find out what's causing the high fuel consumption, so if anyone knows anything do give me some advice, thank you!! However i find my fuel consumption quite high. Based on my mileage and fuel usage since May, i average around 6.6km per litre. I've seen better km /l for a swift sport, wondering why my swift sport fuel consumption is so high? Any solutions or ways I can check to find the cause of this? thanks!! I am driving a Swift Sport 2009. My fuel consumption shown on the dashboard is around 12km/L - which is quite accurate. There is a button in the central console to toggle display modes. Try to toggle it to show average instead of instant. Will take a couple of weeks for it to display the correct FC. May show as a dash if the computer haven learn enough data. My vehicle is total stock. maybe you want to take a photo with your hood open. from there agar agar can see if it is modified. This small vehicle is impressive. After driving for many years now than I realized swift sport has many airbags even as compared to modern cars

The side mirrors of the new swift doesn’t fold when you lock the doors? I thought every new car have this function, even the Attrage have it…haha. That’s the minimum already. Aesthetics and performance maybe can try project s. The rest i think can do at those ICE shops.

hotcakeswithsausage Neutral Newbie August 25, 2021 Share August 25, 2021 Hello all! I previously posted about my issue with fuel consumption. 2008 Swift Sport Just a little bg, i'm a new driver, and also 1st time to a workshop for servicing, so I am new to all these 😔 Had my car checked at Garage R and have to have few things replaced (spark plugs, ignition coil, head rocker cover gasket) 1. I'm trying to minimize my costs... anyone knows which stockist i can get my parts from? 2. Just trying to see if anyone has a recommended workshop for their swift? Garage R told me they need around 5-6 days to work on my car which is quite long, so trying to see any alternatives.

BL garage at kaki bukit 2. project S at woodlands. you can google address for both. 5-6 days at garageR? Are they gonna overhaul the engine? Or maybe they hinting to you to go away.
hotcakeswithsausage Neutral Newbie August 25, 2021 Share August 25, 2021 @Mkl22 thanks!! i will check them out 🙂 I also dont know why so long. My o2 sensor also needs to be replaced. But they did mentioned they need to take apart some parts (i did not catch what is it but something to do with the exhaust) and that will take time. But still i find 5-6 days super long. Maybe they are swarmed 🤷♀️
