The new Suzuki showroom was officially opened too
The new Swift is characterised by a sleeker and sharper design, a bold evolution of the car's DNA. The front fascia is headlined by the large, hexagonal grille, along with more sharply-shaped LED head lights with daytime running lights. The rear features LED tail lamps.

Additionally, the new Swift comes equipped with 16-inch polished alloy rims. The interior has also evolved, featuring improved levels of equipment.

There is a multi-information LCD display on the dashboard, automatic air-conditioning, as well as a USB port and accessory socket. The steering wheel is also new, featuring multi-functional buttons, as well as paddle shifters.

The new Swift is motivated by a turbocharged 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine producing 109bhp and 160Nm of torque
The car's wheelbase has also grown by 20mm to 2,450mm, which means that there is more legroom for rear passengers. Luggage capacity in the new Swift has also gone up by 54 litres to 265 litres.

More importantly, the new Swift is powered by a new turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0-litre Boosterjet engine, delivering 109bhp and 160Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Safety systems on the new Swift include Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Program, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, and Hill Hold Control. Additionally, the new Swift also features cruise control.

The all new Suzuki Swift is ready for test drives at the newly opened Suzuki showroom located at 10 Chang Charn Road, #01-00, Link (THM) Building, Singapore (159639).

Went to see the new Swift on Sat.

Looks good but just one thing.

The car has a reverse camera but has no display to show the image.

Ask the salesperson and he said need to change the headunit?

At least it’s now 6k difference to a Honda Jazz. Slightly better chance. However the Honda is considered a tier1 manufacturer and Suzuki maybe 2,3 tier in Japan. Likewise in Singapore. Suzuki will always be behind toyota and Honda in terms of brand prestige, so to sell more than a Honda will put off quite some folks.

After crash, the VW Gearbox can move? Hahaha.

At least swift with the crumpled door still can move with it’s robust gearbox.
