Yea but seriously high priced loh...due to the crazy COE in 2012-2013 I guess..

 

The ZC31s is abundant....was actually toying the idea to get one for a year before scrap.

 

Also looking for HT81S too...even more rare...

There is a coe renewed black zc31 that you can lowball. Approx 4 years left.

My zc32s is up in sgcarmart. Belive its one of the those few manuals you see. I love this baby very much.. but my wife cant drive manual  .  Anyone keen to take to adopt ?

Hi Forumers,

 

I have a Jan 2008 Swift 1.2A XG n intends to pass it to my teenage daughter who has recently passed her driving license but problem is the car is having intermittent engine stalling issues when slowing down n will be risky for her to drive it.

 

This issue has been going on for few mths without any error codes n have been to 3 workshops but all r unable to solve the problem.

 

Have changed crankshaft sensors, spark plugs, ABS pump n brake pads.

Also clean throttle body n overhauled gearbox.

 

All wiring were checked n verified healthy.

 

Any suggestions / recommendations ?

Trade like replace to an auto transimission? Doesnt justify the cost involve.. the setup for the car was geared for a very good manual drive alrdy..

 

trade it to get a auto car? yeah.. thats why i have to let her(the car not my wife ) go... :(

I suggest u buy a left 1 or 2 yrs one then change to the newer ss. Hehehe

My 07 sss(m) has similar problem but doesn't stall. When slowing down in neutral(not always), rpm will drop till around 500(can feel the engine vibrate a bit) then will jump back up to just above 1k before it stabilize itself to just below 1k. But if i keep my car in gear when slowing down then this doesn't happen. I told my workshop about this during my last servicing and they cleaned the MAF sensor (think that's what it's called) and the problem went away for few weeks but now it's back again. But since mine doesn't stall, i will wait till next servicing before asking them again.

Anyone has any idea the trouble n cost to convert zc32s cvt gb to manual gb? Or recommend any workshop that deal w this kind of stuff?

 

Read from LTA site it can be done legally, n vice versa for manual to auto.

 

Read another site auto to manual is less complicated than manual to auto.

 

Since thrs so limited zc32s avail, n CM stopped selling manual version for so long, im sure thr not many manual zc32s in the market too.

You can get the parts from msia or even do it there which will be way cheaper than sg.
