Hi bros,

Can anyone of you teach me how to change my swift auto gear knob??

Thanks!!

Pre-fl swift have to use brute force to pull out the knob.

Fl swift just unscrew it by turning the knob anti clockwise.

Hi Guys, I intending to get a swift. However, I'm confused with the XG and non-XG .

For what I read, it look like the PI & AD model. Am I right? If so, is there a many differences on the parts and servicing ? Thank You Brudders!

Hi all. Has this section closed? It seems that no one here replying to those 2013 posts. First of all, I've been introduced by a friend to this website. I just got a suzuki swift and wanted to mingle around with all swift lovers. Anyone out there?

Hi, still have many swift owners in this forum but they are more active in other threads currently. May need a few posts to liven things up in this thread [:)]

I have a Feb 2012 Swift, and am coming up to my 30,000km servicing soon (yes, by right 2 years old should hit 40,000km liao haha). After the servicing, i hope to change out my tyres. Any recommendations?

Currently on Bridgestone ER300 OEM tyres with 185/55/16. I am hoping to get tyres with better grip in dry and wet, and am looking at 205/xx/16 or 195/xx/16 tyres. Budget ard 100-150 per piece - since i am not looking to change rims, i dont mind spending more on tyres.

Stock tyres should be 195/45/16 if I rmbr correctly. If you are on stock rims, 205 tyres should be okay. My rims ET is 35, 205 will rub fender.

I am actually on 185/55/16 - stock from AD - 2012 Swift (not Sports) GLX. GL came with 175/??/15 if i remember correctly. Hope my stock rims can take 205mm. What is meant by the rims' ET?

ET is offset of the rim. The smaller the number, the more the rim will protrude out towards the fender. I think 6.5" wide rims should be able to take 205mm tyres.

Should be 175/65-15 so as to maintain the diameter of 609mm.

but for a 1.4, wouldnt a 205 section tyre compromise ur FC & pick up.

If its 6.5 inch agree it should be able to take but if its 6inch like the Jazz/City 1.5, the walls will likely bend inwards which imo compromises the looks.
