I guess this happens to everyone at one time or another. What do you usually do and does it work well?

For me I'd usually turn off the aircon and wind down the windows...

I'm so sleepy today [dead] slept just 2 hrs yesterday because I had to write up a paper [:|] Going home soon... need to stay awake [shocked]

well, for me is switch to speeding mode.....

that's what i always did when i travel back to KL alone at those weewee hour (2am type..), must speed and if possible, find someone to have a friendly "race" by keeping ourselves awake and entertained combine with loud ice blasting..... [:p]

Neutral Newbie

if possible, just find a car park to rest for 10-15mins.. very effective..

else try to listen to some loud music..

maybe it's me.. ...if i cruise at certain speed for too long, i will fall asleep... must speed a bit to stay awake.. [laugh] ... maybe because i enjoy the steering wheel and never the one volunteer to take the passenger seat whenever possible...... [:p]

And remember not to listen to Kenny G or Josh Groban type of music .... Switch to Linkin Park or Metallica will help in one way of another . [laugh]

Turbocharged
keep some pee in your bladder

want to go to toilet urgency will keep one awake

That's very innovative. Hopefully you will reach home before the dam burst.

How about washing face before driving off then at traffic light stops, spray face with water from those spray thing which some women carry? Not sure of the name but it is supposed to refresh a tired face.
