Sin_0 Neutral Newbie October 14, 2008 Share October 14, 2008 KUALA LUMPUR: Petrol prices will be reduced by a further 10sen to 20sen from Wednesday. RON 97 petrol is reduced by 15sen to RM2.30; RON 92 petrol is reduced by 10sen to RM2.20; and diesel is reduced by 20sen to RM2.20. A post on the Prime Minister's Office website (wwww.pmo.gov.my) said the decision was made following the marked drop in the global oil price of late. "The lowering of the fuel prices is also made to speed up the reduction of retail prices so that the people will be able to enjoy the benefits sooner," the post added. The statement was signed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. The previous two reductions were on Aug 23 and Sept 24. ↡ Advertisement
Boxster 2nd Gear October 14, 2008 Share October 14, 2008 (edited) I think at this rate it is going, it will reach the old price $1.92 very soon . Maybe the malaysian car owners will be very happy once it reach the old price and they will have addition fuel subsidy as bonus for 2008. Papbest Neutral Newbie October 15, 2008 Share October 15, 2008 the only way for mudland petrol to reach RM 1.92 per liter is for crude oil to maintain at a healthy US $70 a barrel for a period of time, which is hardly possible given this cilmate. OPEC can just cut output to resist the price from going up. Singapore petrol price is going down soon lah, dont gan cheong! Good news coming anytime today to Friday. Robo 2nd Gear October 15, 2008 Share October 15, 2008 as i always say... wait long long. they delay for 1 day... i guess we can all guess how much they can make. 50L*0.05=2.50 assuming 10000cars a day $25,000 bucks! and 10000 cars is already a conservative amount! ↡ Advertisement
