It's quite to be true since it's a manufacturer's website -- you would hope that they should know what they are selling [laugh]

Anyway, 225/45 R17 is a more common or more popularly accepted size than 215/45 R17 -- Michelin's Pilot Sports 2 also doesn't have 215/45 R17 , only 225.

Please PM shop that sells Michelin Pilot sports 2 , 225/45-17 at $225/pc. Thanks.

its quieter than my previous eagle F1..can't comment for other tyres

Before switching to F1 Asymmetric I was using BS RE050. The noise seem to be about the same.

Grip (wet & dry) F1 is better (especially on wet) and price is definitely better than RE050.

I just bought my PS2 for S$320/pc (225/45/17).

As for Goodyear F1 Asymmetric, is S$210/pc same size.

PS2 is lighter tyre than F1.

Hmm, possibly thinking of changing to this tyre for a FD2A. Currently on 215/45/17 but I noticed on the GY website that they now carry F1 Asym in this size as well. Should I upsize the width to 225 or stick to 215 still? Btw, anyone has any idea what the price per piece of 215 width ones is?

i just got mine - 225/40 18" made in Germany $300 per pc. This size was not available before Dec when i checked Goodyear website. Goodyear seem to brought in more sizes as confirmed by earlier replies in this thread. Tks to all bro who contributed the info. If not i also won;t know they have my size now.

local distributor onli brings in made in german F1 asy bec of the perception of MIC tires.

so if one day we find MIC F1 asy, then likely to be fr PI liao. price will definitely be cheaper and if you believe the quality is the same, then it will be more value-4-$$.

Between 17" and 18" is a yawning $90 jump. I thought it's usually an incremental $50 per inch between 15" to 18". Where did you get your MIG 18" for $300?

Just went down to Leong Seng at Ubi today to get 225/45/17 F1 Asyms installed. Cost: $210 per piece

I was talking to the guy and he casually mentioned off the top of his head that 225/40/18 is $280 or so,

although how accurate his memory is I dunno.

245/40/18 is $360 though! ouch. saw an audi tt putting those on..
