camera mounted on the floor using tripod.. finding a good way to secure it for trackday...

 

Pardon me... you mounted the camera using a tripod on the car floor? how you do it man? Beside that. the back seat... how your passenger goning sit? Must show me next time when we have a chance to meet. [cool]

juz kidding.. come for the kopi session laa.. always i go.. i the only smallest car.. [sweatdrop]

 

rear passenger sit? no problems.. only sacrifice centre space.. anyway nobody sits my car :)

anyway the camera is not permanent there. im just trying to find out optimal mounting position for the upcoming track day. after that, all the equipment will be kept at home.

It's just for track day. We all mount our cameras like that. This is a good position cause it is the widest FOV and you get to see what the driver (head direction) is looking.

I haven't tried for my bella cause I am afraid that the tripod legs will make a mark on my rear seats. :(

I have used back the rubber. The rim is clean and kept in my store room. If u are interested, I will bring it to whichever tyre shop for u.

I was with ftco a short while this morning at AS. He's keen to be poisoned by any serpent with BMC CDA. Didn't know you're on leave. Maybe you guys can hook up sometime and just post for kopi ? [:)]

seeking some advice: CLH just quoted me for the following rim + rubbers:

 

$580 per 18" OZ Racing Ultraleggera

$295 per Bridgestone Potenza RE001 R18/225/45

 

Total damage: $3,500.00

 

worthwhile? or am i starting to resemble a carrot?

saw ur spyder when i past by AS this afternoon ard 3pm+...was thinking if u're there then can let u drive my ride ard to have a feel on the 18" rubber....^_^
