Kimi is currently fastest [thumbsup]

The Finn set the fastest lap of the sport's first night race; his tenth such achievement in the 15 Grand Prix so far in 2008.

It equals Michael Schumacher's standing record of ten fastest laps in the 2004 season, an achievement 28-year-old Raikkonen also equalled as a McLaren driver in 2005.

He's the real flying finn. He lets his driving do the talking.

2005 was the year he narrowly lost out to schumi too...

i only supported ferrari after he went there and his WC title last year is well deserved.

but the comments made by their boss still makes my blood boil. damn sad that he crashed out late in the race, he was really pushing hard.

yeah there has always been no doubt that kimi is one of the fastest drivers in F1, but then F1 is not only all about beening fast like 100m sprints.... schumi was fast, but he was not only fast but he has got good racing brain n the skills to utillise the speed.

Kimi is definitely fast, his recent run of black spell didn't help him much. That's why Ferrari still wants him.

On the flip side, Lewis had zero fastest lap last year [sly]

2003 Kimi narrowly miss out to Shumi, 2005 was to Alonso [thumbsup] that year was Alonso beat the sxxt out of kimi and Shumi. Championship 2005 standing 1st Alonso, 2nd Kimi and 3rd Shumi.

But Kimi did a Fantastic job!!!!!! [thumbsup] Remember Suzuka 2005? Kimi started LAST finish the race 1ST!!!! Great go see reply at youtube [;)]

he's always the fastest [thumbsup]

but the problem is that he's always not the first to finish [:|]

clocking fastest when u alone is different when there are competitors ard u trying to edge u out..

In the F1 race, it's consistency that counts, especially when the going gets tough.

Hamiton really shines when the tracks get wet, treacherous and unpredictable.

Mental strength is also impt. Massa, Hamilton and Kimi all lost out from the 1st safety car in Singapore, but only Hamilton manages to claw back to 3rd.

yea, lewis may not be fast, but he's very consistent and made less critical mistakes. that's why he's up there and kimi is not [shakehead]

and i wonder why kimi is not performing towards the end of the season?? it's not about black spell because it doesn't look like he got any engine problem. something else must be wrong?? [confused]

but the thing is that he's always clocking fastest in the race, and to clock the fastest with others competitors around but not in the front shows how fast he can be if he were to be put at the front [dizzy]

but i think that's the reason why he ended up at the wall later on [sweatdrop]

Lewis agressive style allows him to get more heat into the tyres in the wet thus the McLaren handles better, on the flip side his tyres wears out faster and do not last. Wonder why Lewis almost became chamo last year but no fastest lap.

It's a known fact that the Ferrari weakness is the car handling in wet. Holding the drivers equation out.

There is so much electronic control in the cars that it's component failure and not due to the driver
