Singtel mobile broadband contract

got a letter from singtel to extend mobile broadband 1000 plan contract for 2 yrs, at $13.45/mth PLUS $50 Taka voucher?

 

my current contract will end on end Nov 08.

 

is this a worth offer, or shd i wait for more other attractive offers either from Singtel or other providers?

At the last computer fair at Suntec, the offer was $11+ per month.

 

It seems they are giving you the same offer bcos extra $2+ a month for 24 months = $50. ie, you are paying for the $50 voucher (what's new? haha).

Is the speed good enough? I am thinking to get one myself.

Coverage is good, as for speed, it depends on the time of day and generally I find 1Mbps more than sufficient. Speed rarely goes beyond that and I do not see the need to subscribe higher speed plans.

This Singtel mobile broadband means they give you one USB device and depend on 3G network right?

3.5G ... the Huawei modem they gave me for free (costs $300+) supports HSPDA.

Wait for the next IT show. The last one, I signed for the Singtel Broadband on Mobile 2000 only $17+. 12 mths contract only. Comes with the USB stick, no SIM and registration fee too.
