Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic September 29, 2008 Share September 29, 2008 Another explosive weekends match this Sunday.......... It's Man City vs Liverpool at City of Manchester Stadium. The Brazilian SAMBAL vs the Spanish OLE or in another words... the Brazil street parties vs the Spanish bull fights. Liverpool had just won an away match (against Everton) and is now playing away again to Man City who had lost 2 matches in a row. The first lost to Brighton in mid week Carling Cup and a 2-1 defeat to Wigan last night...... Man City would want to revenge the 2 straight loses with a win at home ground against Liverpool. Liverpool would like to stay at the top of the league table plus with the top form of their Spanish striker Torres and SG looking for his 100 goals for his club...... Robinho returning from a midweek trip to Brazil, certainly did an unpleasant one for him who suffers jet set at Wigan. Kingcopa 1st Gear September 29, 2008 Share September 29, 2008 Man City boss need to be realistic abit. So what if u r the richest club in the world, more like laughing stock. Wigan whole team transfer cant even match 1 Robinho but they beat them For Liverpool to win is abit tough also. Based on their horrendous records after CL game. Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic September 30, 2008 Author Share September 30, 2008 Dubai group 'on' 'off' & 'on' relation with Liverpool is scarely thing........ REport from FT.com : http://us.ft.com/ftgateway/superpage.ft?ne...420080825551808 Dubai back in talks to buy Liverpool Dubai's international investment arm confirmed on Tuesday that it was in talks to acquire Liverpool Football Club, but said that its current US owners were "in dreamland about valuations" of the club. Sameer al-Ansari, Dubai International Capital chief executive of DIC, said at a private equity conference in Dubai, that talks were at a "sensitive stage". Last week Tom Hicks, one of the American co-owners of Liverpool, denied he was about to sell his 50 per cent stake in the Premier League club. Bruisedlee 5th Gear October 5, 2008 Share October 5, 2008 Man City 2 Liverpool 3 What a comeback from 2 goals down! After watching the game, I am very disappointed with both Liverpool's fullbacks especially left back, Fabio Aurelio, really CMI .. after overlapping he cannot run down to defence .. too tired? Nonetheless, cheers for their fighting spirits! And Skrtel injuries look bad ↡ Advertisement
