I saw it at Stamford Tyres at Lokyang. It is by Philips. But how bright is it, i dunno neh. price i think is 200+ bah. hope this help. do let us know after u hv installed.

EU laws will require all cars to have permanent daylight running lights from 2010 ... some EU countries already compulsory ... its for safety ... normal headlights are too dazzling and consumes too much power ...

Before every moron starts calling them by the wrong name. They are called DAYTIME DRIVING LIGHTS (or DRL for short) . In this case LED Daytime Running Lights.

Actually it is called a Daytime Running Lamp.

 

Its funny, because in countries where DRL is compulsory, or going to be compulsory in the near future, some cars already come with it as standard, you turn the car on, and the DRLs are on by default. And the talk is focused on how to disable the DRL.

 

Over here, people instead want to have DRL, and are willing to spend money to have it. I guess, its just trying to be different.
