China: Shanghai - For a Week. Where to go?

Will be in Shanghai for a week in Oct. Would appreciate if any bros / sis can advise on where I can go??? Suggestions of itenaries will be good.

Hm..

 

You can go:

 

1. Nan Jing road

2. Ming Zhu tower

3. Cheng Huang Mao ( must eat the Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao)

4. Wai tang

 

 

Outside Shanghai, there are few other places should go like the Xi Hu (West lake?) and Ling Ying shi ( Temple in Hang Zhou)

 

If you got free and easy, I suggest you join local tour at the Shanghai Stadium. Its cheap, reliable and convenient.

We'll be going F & E. Any good day tour co to recommend? Also, How far away is HangZhou from Shanghai? Travel time? Not too sure whether we can go there & make it back to Shanghai on the same day.Thanks!!

shanghai is ard 5 time bigger then singapore. traffic is 10mil commuters in and out daily. the traffic at inner ring road is horrendous.

 

1 day trip is boh ko leng one

Possible!

 

For me, one day joined local tour to Zhou Zhuang (MUST GO). Zhou Zhuang is an very old town and have samll rivers running across the whole villeage.

 

Another day joined local tour to Hang Zhou ( went to Xi Hu and Ling ying shi). Xi Hu you can take the boat ride ( inclusive in the package to an island) and also see the Lai feng tar ( you know Bai She Juan?) during the boat ride.

 

Sorry, I have difficulty in typing chinese.

 

I will search for the local tour link and send you again. Very cheap and very worth it. Just take the coach from the Shanghai stadium (Wan ren to yu chang), its at Shu jia hui.

it's cheap and really worth it.. could be much better than your own F&E

chey.. i tot ur one day trip is rush here and there then to airport. of cos not enuff.

 

must planned, call airline confirm ur return tix, then time to go airport, then remaining time.

 

but again, gg out of SH thru the ring road will still b a nitemare.

as one suggested...the stadium there have abt 10 routes to various tourist places...so one day take 1 route..u will need 10 days...enough boh ?...still haven include the place in shanghai..pudong puxi itself
