Carbon82 Moderator September 12, 2008 Author Share September 12, 2008 Can forget about those you mentioned for the Odyssey we will be getting from KM. Alhough not as bad as say Komoco that bring in bare basic model, the units carries but KM is also relatively basic (just ABS + airbags). Blame it on our vehicle tax stricture. ↡ Advertisement
Mt88 September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 It is common for a factory to extend the lifecycle if the product/model is still quite popular. This is a full model change 4th gen Ody. The 2nd gen Ody was an evolution of the 1st. This 4th is an evolution of 3rd gen. 1st gen 2nd gen 3rd gen 4th gen

Mt88 September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 I think so too especially for this price sensitive market. But there is still some hope through PI though

Retrox85 Neutral Newbie September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 have always love the odyssey's interior although its not the type of car for my age. this one is no different, the dashboard is way cool!
Ahyoo2002 2nd Gear September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 Really? That is fast, the facelift Ody just launch in July 06 and now come the new one? Is it facelift or new model?
Jetabout777 1st Gear September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 Odyssey is a great car, but like all other japanese cars, model changes are way too fast! The manufacturers will either piss current odyssey owners or expedite owners to change cars more frequently.
Jetabout777 1st Gear September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 My favourite would be the 2nd gen Odyssey. Timeless exterior design imho. Still looks very good!

Tas0577 1st Gear September 12, 2008 Share September 12, 2008 Now following the trend of using similar spare parts to minimize the cost mah, just like Toyota Vios, Altis and Camry all using same parts like the side mirror and air-con filter.
Yaloryalor 5th Gear September 13, 2008 Share September 13, 2008 Very nice! I like the exterior but the interior like the steering wheel and the console looks too complicated just like the new Accord, too many buttons
Alfpoon Clutched September 13, 2008 Share September 13, 2008 still NO sliding doors?
Tas0577 1st Gear September 13, 2008 Share September 13, 2008 So it is just a facelifted model but not a new model as most parts are still the same as the current model. Most bigger MPV already using sliding doors like the Nissan Lafesta/Pressage, Mitsubishi Delica, Toyota Picnic, Mazda 5 are all using sliding doors. Seem a bit slow and outdated.
