Simple, just tell the doctor you feel chest pain. Surely doctor will refer you to specialist. ↡ Advertisement

Takes a while for it to regain with possible angiogenesis as well in the myocardium

As long as your risk factors like blood sugar/cholesterol/BP levels are controlled, if you are asymptomatic, whether you are diagnosed with heart disease or not doesn't really matter for your long term survival. Just controlling those 3 things, is more than sufficient for most pple. If it's your time, it's your time. Some people even those 3 things are controlled, the person might still have heart blockage, maybe mild?

Have to control the 3 highs very carefully. Hopefully it would not worsen and just maintain the current status.

My doctor said that a normal person's EF is around >60%. Mine is only around 40% because of the damage tissue caused by the heart attack.

Is there a standard detailed heart check pathway through poly? I went for company medical checkup and review at raffles hospital few years back. Told the doc I sometimes got chest pains, breathless, and felt heart skipped a beat. He took chest x-ray and hooked up wires to my chest. Then checked my BP, HDL/LDL, sugar, other parameters and said all ok, no further action. Still alive now, probably stress back then. On the other hand, my friend felt a slight chest pain and straightaway called an ambulance. Brought to hospital for tests, all ok, but got CT done and all. How often do you bring a car in for service? You want Ad or whoever, your choice. The correct answer is not to need the help of any lokun other than deliver your baby. 2. what do you think if a vital component is known faulty, how often do you think you should bring in for service? 3. Are you thinking? Soldier. In my case, it’s an overlay, 3 months gap between lokuns, for me, it’s polyclinic or gp. Myself change engine oil no count. If you know what I mean. then if you goodyear bigini, lassiez les bon temps rouler. 😉 cest la vie. Edited October 29, 2023 by Datsun366

Cardiac health is a long term illness. Unless you do not mind the cost, go ahead with private. Otherwise the gov heart centres like, National Heart Centre, NUH Heart clinic and Noninvasive Cardiac Laboratory (TTSH) are pretty much most ppl visit. In terms of expertise, the gov centres are top in asean or even Asia. Long term cost includes consultation, medication, lab test and CT scans. Do consider it carefully. ↡ Advertisement
