David Clutched September 9, 2008 Share September 9, 2008 Class 3A was created because of public feedback that most, if not all, cars are on auto-gear. So they lamented why the need to learn manual and after having passed then they have to learn to drive auto. IMO, it a useless idea to have 3A for this purpose. Diamond2006 1st Gear September 9, 2008 Author Share September 9, 2008 Err...so can Class 3A driver drives in Malaysia or convert to international license?
Fcw75 Hypersonic September 9, 2008 Share September 9, 2008 (edited) Hahaha, David is good. He replied your post without even answering your question. Start to tell you the history of Class 3A instead. Anyway, I think can convert to international licence. When I took the driving test in Canada, they also allow me to use auto car. Ok, I never really answer your question specifically too. Edited September 9, 2008 by Fcw75

Boyboy 1st Gear September 9, 2008 Share September 9, 2008 good qn. but i not going to answer it cos i can't however, my friend who learnt how to drive auto in US can get a conversion in SG as if he learnt on a manual. of course he won't be so silly as to jump into the deep end and drive manual without proper training. thus, logically 3A should be as just as recognised as class 3. practically speaking, i really dunno
Watwheels Supersonic September 9, 2008 Share September 9, 2008 If I have a class 3A and I drive my auto car into M'sia, do I need to care so much??
Solar Turbocharged September 9, 2008 Share September 9, 2008 i suppose u need to check with the particular country for advice cos nobody will know unless they're there. one example.. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licens...ersLicences.htm here it mention in general, so i suppose any of the same class (normal motor vehicle) from the country can use another suggestion is to get the idp from AA...(i dunno how effective though) http://www.aas.com.sg/services/permit.htm
