Morning Peak from Choa Chu Kang to Simei?

Must reach work place before 8am

 

KJE - BKE - PIE seems to be the most direct way but my friend told me PIE every morning Jam

 

Any drivers frequent PIE in the morning?

 

I dont mind reaching office earlier than 8am if i can avoid the jam at PIE

 

or is there another alt way ?

 

KJE - BKE - SLE - TPE?

The bottle neck from CCK to Simei via KJE-BKE-PIE is normally at the exit from BKE to PIE. To avoid jam/ERP, the best bet is to hit KJE by 7am and you may be at Simei by 745am or earlier.

 

The other way via SLE-TPE is longer and normally you'll encounter slow traffic at sengkang/punggul and upper change exit.

when i take bus the singtel satalite there always jam..

so if i hit KJE by 7am , most likely i wont meet jam at the singtel satalite there?

NO, the jam will still be there it's juz not so bad yet. it's getting worst from 7am onward. Make sure you on radio to check if any accident along the way, if there is, you will be late for sure.. haha.

 

I have been taking that route for more than 7 years... BKE-PIE jam is getting jialat every year.. few years back, I can leave CCK at 07:25 and still manage to reach tampines by 8am.. Now "No Way"!

take KJE-BKE-SLE-TPE would be smoother i guess.. prolly the TPE stretch after punggol will have a little heavy traffic. but if u leave ur place around 7am u should clear and reach office b4 8am.

most jams started at about 730-8am..

 

so if you hit expressway by 715am, by the time the jam starts at the bottlenecks, you would've been long gone..
