Miles 4th Gear September 7, 2008 Share September 7, 2008 lots of things done are propaganda... just look at the sunday times today, many foreigners calling spore their home - 2 prong - promote spore/telling people alot of people coming in to buy property, so property market will not plunge. Interview foreign workers - every single one praised singapore. grid lock - we must avoid situation like new york. ... promote ERP. every single piece of editorial or 'news' have its function/meaning ... for the general public. Pimpmycar Neutral Newbie September 7, 2008 Share September 7, 2008 (edited) Do you welcome the new ERP Gantry ? Mr 1 The fellow that came up with the ideal, need to dig his ears n listen to the people. MR 2 Let the rest of the world knows about our gantry and have a good laugh. MR 3 Road Tax/ Inspection / COE / GST, what more do you want from us. MR 4 My business has been greatly affected badly by the new gantry. MR 5 Taxi drivers N delivery drivers are the one are greatly affected. MR 6 LTA made this koyak road design, so why are we paying for their mistake ? MR 7 I see no differents in better traffic after the gantry started. MR 8 Every drivers disagreed with the ERP system, i don't think they are wrong. MR 9 Its peanuts to me, i would be more than happy to pay just to avoid jam. MR10 I'm not sure but if it can help ease traffic it should be worth to Pay. After much filter this is what you get. MR 9 Its only a few dollars, i would be more than happy to pay just to avoid jam. MR10 I'm not sure but if it can help ease traffic it should be worth to Pay. Kb27 Supersonic September 8, 2008 Share September 8, 2008 If you want more objective reporting, you got to watch news like bbc. Solar Turbocharged September 8, 2008 Share September 8, 2008 i find this a wrong timing...which leads me to think its more of a propaganda.. they should have showed it before national day, to inspire nationalism, but not after as a propaganda.. they can't do it too one-sided or else 'gullible' ones also won't believe. perhaps they'll make it a lil' more skewed.. its going to be interesting to see what picture they'll be painting in this show
Nullifi3d 4th Gear September 8, 2008 Share September 8, 2008 Quote Are the stories in this program fiction or real people? Is it another propaganda to show locals grass is not greener elsewhere? The show is really crap in a sense that not one character mentioned the positives of being in the country. Once again another blatant attempt at tring to con us. I'm to smart for you Harry. And so is everyone else.
