Why this taxi driver can't extend the same courtesy to us as what we give them

Everytime when a taxi driver on stop to drop off or pick up passenger in front of us, we either wait patiently or filter to ove take. Don't horn them.

 

But today, while letting off my inlaw, and kid along temple street, not more than 10 sec. I kenna horn by one taxi driver. Of all the people, it has to be a taxi driver where they need this sort of courtesy from us more than we need it, and thus I would expect some understanding especially from taxi driver on dropping off people.

that is why i don't extend any forms of courtesy to them [laugh][laugh]

 

if they stop longer than is needed to alight (i can see if they are dawdling or whether passenger is elderly etc), horn for them [sly]

Bro, if you got 'On' your harzard lights when you let your passengers alight, by all means get down ask that fxcker 'Si Mi Dai Chi' [:|]

When taxi drivers horn at me, I don't care a f**k with them especially those who horn to ask me to move forward a bit so that they could move off after stopping behind me.

 

They could jolly well reverse and overtook me for no one asked hin to stopped so close to my vehicle ........ [mad][mad][mad]

the way they wanna earn money, will cause alot of trouble to alot of people..

i recently have a few encounters with their "picking up/dropping passengers"

 

1. Stop at a U turn to pick up passengers(nearly banged into him since he suddenly stop and nvr on hazard light)

2. Zoom from right lane to left lane very fast, without signal left(also nearly banged into him since i on the left)

3. Dropping passengers at traffic light

 

they dun heck care abt safety on the road.. so why bother heck care when they horn..

I do agreed with all bro [;)] Not all of them behave in such a way but majority are like that [:p] cos once i had saw a motorist banging the bonnet of the taxi and challenging the taxi driver to come down. [jawdrop] That's life.

Next time, just on ur hazard lights. Get down and walk to the taxi driver behind and ask

 

"What's ur problem?" [sly][laugh][laugh]

No point getting upset because of this kind of incidents.

 

Anyway if taxi cut my lane to stop to alight or pick up passengers, I will blast my horn at them all the way.

 

If taxi suddenly brake in front of me to alight or pick up passengers, I will also blast my horn at them.

 

However, if the taxi on hazard lights in advance and slow down gradually to alight or pick up passengers I will be graceful and wait for them.

 

So when I turn on hazard lights in advance and slow down gradually to alight or pick up passengers I expect them to be graceful and wait for me.

 

But should they horn at me for no reason, I will bochup them and take my own sweet time.

 

They can jolly well filter lane and overtake me if they want.

Its a chicken and egg story.

 

The taxis expects private cars to be rude to them, so they also drive rudely.

 

Then most private cars expect taxis to be a**holes, so we also 'buay keh ki'
