The robbers worn uniform, looked like police officers (as stated in the Chinese news article). [sweatdrop]

They confused the passers-by with their dressing.

I tot mamak gang members are dead? Kena [rifle] by MY polis, but some manage to getaway.

Brief summary...

Singaporean Ferrari was traveling on NSH with a convoy of same make to Genting.

Victim Ferrari was last vehicle.

Malaysian Hyundai driver noticed victim Ferrari overtaking on the left (middle lane) and cutting back into fast lane.

Ferrari lost control and crashed. 3 mins later, a Malaysian Mercedes pull up and 2 man in some uniform robbed the Ferrari owner.

Other Ferrari in the convoy noticed the missing car and reported to Polis.

There's some different version of what actually happen...

Some reported Polis located the accident vehicle but did not saw any victims.

Rumored that the Ferrari driver and gf were kidnapped and only release at some toll later.

Other reports simply said the victims were simply robbed.

Yet other reported that the robbers received help from passerby whom apparently thought they were helping Polis catch criminals...

Messy...

Seems like Ferrari managed to outrun the Merc robbers but unfortunately kena accident.

So Merc robbers caught up and robbed (kidnapped) them.

According to Ferrari club ppl, that is a solo Ferrari 430 which crashed in heavy rain when kenna pursuit by that black kitted-Merc.

The 430 driver who was beaten up by the Merc gangsters, wasn't part of the convoy.

Mine you, there were also young children in the convoy, hence not getting into this situation was their concern.

My only conern now is those screwed Malaysian authorities don't book those Ferrari for speeding just to get away from those criminals!

Good thing is no one else is hurt in this incident.

actually, on a striaght highway, no point trying to outrun another car, doesn't matter if it's a Ferrari or a Proton...

as long as ur car is moving, ur safe. better to preserve ur fuel than to try and outrun highway robbers.

either that or run them off the road.

car damage is repairable, human damage is forever.
