Subzro Neutral Newbie September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 I'm using Mintex(Red Box 0-500'C) series.. Definitely a good upgrade from stock, although albeit noisy and dusty, I find the stopping power good and braking distance is shortened.. Not to mention, lesser brake fade.. Lancer79 Neutral Newbie September 4, 2008 Author Share September 4, 2008 Hi hope it help www.autodiystore.com/index.php can call this no. 91504533 Disclaimer: I am not related in anyway to him, just that i wan to buy my brakepads from him.
Kb27 Supersonic September 4, 2008 Share September 4, 2008 I think you got to inspect the rotor. Some pads are tougher on rotor. It's either pad wear or rotor wear, something must give.
Eyke Supercharged September 4, 2008 Share September 4, 2008 tried both mintex & ferodo with brembo max rotors and mintex screeched badly. since they are consumables and not that expensive, just try one then the other and experience for yourself. Yuan 6th Gear September 4, 2008 Share September 4, 2008 (edited) Hi all Has anyone tried mintex or ferodo brake pads? My current stock pads are wearing out soon , and was thinking of chnging to mintex or ferodo. but i am worried that my stock rotors might not be able to take it. By the way , whats is the difference between this two? thanks!! Any comments/suggestions? thanks!! I have friends who had tried mintex before and their feedback is that for mintex, towards the end of the pad usage, braking distance and efficiency seemed to be compromised and there is some screeching sound. So far, I have tried Project Mu and Bendix. I love project mu cos it is good. Edited September 4, 2008 by feel
