Friendstar Supercharged December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 (edited) Fact: OPCs pay the same parking rate. OPCs NOT being used during restricted hours is not wrong. Is your point that a stationary OPC in a carpark, by it's mere existance, is a 'crime'? I take it that this is just a question to me. Just to let you understand my statement, OPC created a problem because often people find half the parking zone covered with OPC. Taking up space and it is in fact a waste of resources. How can resources be "wasted" when they'r being properly and fairly utilized? Edited December 22, 2008 by Friendstar ↡ Advertisement
Friendstar Supercharged December 22, 2008 Share December 22, 2008 (edited) Fact:Normal plate cars are equally capable of committing those above offences. No logic dictates that OPCs commit those offences more than other vehicle Fact:By acknowleding that "please do not assume I am saying non-OPCs do not have the same issues" just makes your arguments more nonsensical. You blame OPCs as a source of those offenses, while acknowledging that "non-OPC" have the same issues (ie, equally guilty)... where's the logic in that? I am trying to put a fair statement when I mentioned the above, you choose to think otherwise. I have pointed out that I have witnessed a few incidents, did I mentioned I witnessed a lot of incidents? The only logic is that you chose what to read and assumed. Hi, what's the link between OPC and traffic offences? Clearly, it's misleading. Edited December 22, 2008 by Friendstar
Jrage 1st Gear December 28, 2008 Share December 28, 2008 Frankly,.. i believe that most OPC owners are smart owners. I have friends who earns quite abit and choses to drive a OPC because they dun need to drive to work. A friend in particular, he chose to get VW POLO because of its safety features and go OPC. He could jolly well went for a VIO, which is a decent car, with the money that he paid. the moral of the story... is that..every car owners has their own sets of priority and needs.. Thus, in no means driving OPC means they are cheapstake etc.. the real bad sheeps are those that cheats in traffic rules.. be it car park coupon or off-peak coupon.. :)

Don't think it is funny, imagine having 10 OPC cars, then it is another 170K to buy another for free? But u can't drive all of the 11 cars at the same time. Eleventh car is the Kar Ta, the rest of the 10 drive at own convienient.

Most get a fun car (e.g. convertibles) as an OPC car which they hardly utilise, and all pay cash. None of they are really rich though. Just well off. i always imagine myself buy a civic as a daily car and a GT-R OPC for occasional weekend fun but then again, the mighty rich will NOT do that. Nope they won't. They will be like my friend who has a GT3 for the street and a GT3 cup car that is unregistered for fun (it cannot be registered).
