This thread is getting interesting. [:p]

I drive to Parkway Parade almost every weekend, and the carpark there is poorly designed as well. Very tight turns at every floor and some drivers are just plain reckless as they speed up towards the turns. Almost got hit a few times. [sweatdrop]

It is not poorly designed...it is stupidly designed.

The whole car park has only one "mainroad", so if people wait for others to drive out or drive in, a long queue will form behind. The jam there is really bad mainly because many drivers park at the side waiting for others to drive out, and hence jam up the whole road.

The bends are not so bad for me. Infact, I love the narrow winding ramp of Central Mall. I take pleasure that when I speed down that long winding ramp with no brakes, my passenger will first get panic attack (from the tyre screeching sound) and then dizzy spells.... [rolleyes]

The Shaw house carpark is very small, not the silver car's fault.

The carpark lot can't even part 3 cars in 3 lots.

That's how bad it seems.

I vote my house's carpark the worst. lol.

Hard to turn about.

Square2 behind Novena Sq also. Similar to Central. Get [dizzy] by the time reach the top.

Burlinton Sq as some bros mentioned. was just there on Sun. everyone in my car was cursing the carpark.

Novena Square and Square2 might be have a very steep and winding access road to the carpark, but at least the winding approach is pretty spacious. The most horrible carpark in my opinion is that of Liang Court. Both the basement carpark and upper stories carpark are a fxxking bitch to get into especially when you're driving a large car. The walls along both carpark's approach are full of scratch marks.... [dead][dead][dead]

did u went to Novena Square when it was first built? This is the only carpark which I know that they tore down the approach and widened it AFTER the opened the building.....

when it was first open, the approach was REALLY narrow. I think if u drive a long car.... really difficult.

Some of them park at the Entrance Lane [cool]

even those parking at the entrance lane..also won't block traffic..

coz the going up lane is originally 2 way..then after the spiral ramp is built, they convert to single lane.. [thumbsup]

[nod][nod][thumbsup]

Right.... then we will see the increase in MCP charges... sad to say, some new estates got damn small car parks...

anyway, they still increased the charges for nothing they do, was $75 previously, then suddenly give some very stupid excuses, increased to $90. so might as well wish that they increase the car park lot sizes, we pay $100, at least we will get the conveniences of egress n ingress (correct spelling?) and our most expensive cars in the world (by prices) will be nice n without dents [laugh]

"The Central" at Clarke Quay.

The design is such that you have to go up corkscrew all the way to 7th floor before you can enter the carpark. At the end of the trip up, you have to pray hard your passengers do not throw up. [shakehead]

I love that corkscrew ramp. Sometimes I drive in and drive out immediately (within the grace period) just to get some fun. Try to roll down without stepping brakes. That's the nearest without paying exorbitant fees for a roller coaster ride.

If the driver of the other car comes back, he has to get in through the driver's seat. So if he is in a bad mood, he'll just scratch or give the silver car a big dent. For me, i would not want to park in such a way that will anger people and invite vandalism.

BTW, shaw carpark is tight, but not that tight untill the cars need to park till like that. someone must have been a parking idiot.

Golden Mile Tower Carpark also Quite Narrow [sweatdrop]

Golden Mile Carpark is also not for cars which are lowered.

I remember my car got stuck at the apex of the slope and scraped the undercarriage there because the apex is at a rather sharp angle.

Gleneagles Hospital - sharp narrow exit upslope at most levels.

I drive and park at Gleneagles Hospital very often.

The tight upslope corners and the right angled entrance and exits to the medical centre's carpark was never that much of an issue ... until I got an MPV! [:p]

The Hospital Carpark's still not too bad though. If I can, I always try to park on the open ground level. Easy in, Easy out.

Agree, also the sharp turn (90 degree) when exit. Other than that Golden Mile carpark is quite OK.

However when comes to scrapping the undercarriage, nothing beats the new HDB carparks (especially the one in Bedok) where they put a hump immediately after the ramp (on the way down). 100% gurantee to scrap the undercarriage. Even lorry is not spared.
