Try leaving the multistorey car park behind People Park (OG) during peak hours. Being an old car park, I can understand they didn't have that experiences.

Many new HD car parks are exactly the same design. hahaha.

When Capital Land bought over IMM, they immediately change the ramp. So you need to privatise to improve leh.

Palais Renaissance car park also old and squeezy.. but many big cars are parked there. Fann Wong frequently parks her Porsche Cayenne in this car park and I see her inching very carefully up and down the slopes. Unless your car super big, S or E class, esle it boils down to skill.

I also not skillful, and my car small. But any bangs, I only have myself to blame.

thanks for sharing Palais Renanissance, so if need to park in that area, where else is good?

Orchard Towers? Forum? Hilton? Delfi Orchard

which one will you recommend?

Cheers!

Palais Renaissance car park indeed tight and narrow at the slopes. But this carpark seems like many big cars drive in.

Don't forget all these car parks plans are submitted and approved by the building authorities before they are built. If they are bad, then the authorities approving such plans need to be taken to task. As we are discussing this, more plans are being approved. Are the problems resolved or status quo? I don't think they care.

Beside poor layout design, many car park has very poor ventilation. In the name of saving energy, now exhaust and fresh air fans are switched off or lowered. You will find these jet fans circulating the hot air and the so called CO sensors. What happen to the heat from engines?

Car park seems to be an area authorities and many landlords will not focus on. If you walk into any buildings, check out the toilets and car park, you will have an idea the standard of the building.

Central carpark ramp is quite narrow but worse it somehow makes me very dizzy as it spins anticlockwise going up..... But it is much cheaper than Merchant Court's which is wide enough.

for Central, other than the steep up and down ramps, the parking lots are actually quite OK.

not parked at Merchant Court before, I usually avoid hotel car parks.

PR is usually best cos not crowded... when everywhere no lot, I can still count on it to deliver a parking spot!

Then how are you going to drive up to Genting or Cameron highlands ? Lol. The key is to not look at the near side in front of the car, but look away.

That one spins anti-clockwise going up too.... but it is not totally enclosed thus it is better for me, with more reference points to gauge distance, compared to a blank white wall at Central.

I think our driving school circuits must include circular ramps.  :secret-laugh:

and minimize the current spaces for parking lots, S course and 3 point turns.
