Wheel balancing problem

any idea wat effect will unbalanced wheels have in the car other than vibrations at the steering. coz mw wheels unbalanced liao, hit one of the wheel on the kerb and no money to change leh. wonder if continued use will have any implications??

if the damage is not bad, its not that bad....go for another proper balancing lor....i just did it for $12....safety come first

hitting curb depending on degree and type of tye you have. sometimes can cause tyre to be pregnant or bloated in side. heard very common in micilin (hearsay only, so pl dont sue me)sometime can bend the rim, which is more chia lat. or sometime siply knock out the balancing weight from the rim.

 

if both no problem, sometime can twist the alignment and need to realign. since in your case, the steering vibrate, chances are a balancing may help. shud be cheap. about 10 bucks.

 

in continue to vibrate and dont repair, becomes a nuisance because evertime shake shake shake, and in the long term could loosen other parts of the car, so more prob s later.

went stamford and tried balancing. was told tat the rim spolilt liao.

so sian, no $$ to change rims....

hm..if steering vibrate, need to do balancing?

my car vibrates at 100kmh and above..but..no vibration from steering wheel leh.

dangerous when braking, esp hard braking and on wet roads.
