Rskeisuke Clutched September 1, 2008 Share September 1, 2008 in a period of one week, i encountered 2 such drivers on the road. Driving at lane 1 of expressway at exactly 90km/h, refusing to give way, and when i start to overtake him from the left after following behind for almost 1 min, the bugger speed up to prevent me from overtaking! ... when you go back into the lane, he slowed down to 90km/h again! ↡ Advertisement

Fireball0088 5th Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 No choice, just have to try over taking him again. Otherwise, if you have the time and petrol to spare, follow him to his destination and ask him why he didn't want you to over take him
Novestel 1st Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 I should have done this !! How come I never think of this..... Hummmmm.
Novestel 1st Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 Sometime got no choice......need to bear with it. If got chance and spare time, go in front and heh hehhhhh(although I know is no good). Last month, one white MITSUBISHI LANCER SGM7??? on right lane not closing up with the front car which is 10 plus length away. I close up and a few times, and he still still ignore and once tried braking tactics. He is staying near PONGGOL or SENGANG. Last week, one silver HONDA CIVIC SF?????? on right lane not closing up with the front car which is 10 plus length away. I close up and flash, he still ignore and when I got chance to speed up on second lane, he speed up and forbid me from overtaking. Should have try to follow them. Fireball0088 5th Gear September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 Just to let you know, I tried it before and it worked! Some clown pissed me off in the car park. I was waiting for a car in front of me to park before I can exit the car park. Out of nowhere, this clown came and overtook in trying to get out of the carpark. For goodness sake, I let him go and he gave me the face. Like what was I doing? So I follow him almost to his house, he and his family was so scared. You can see in their eyes when I was driving beside them. Then I realised that his balls were so big -> . .(please refer to the dots) I let them know that I was following them. I was driving with my lights turned on in broad day light. Ah...that was when I was younger. Now just overtake them from the left if you can. Try and try again. Ususally, this type of CMI drivers will tend to slow down ascending a slope or when they see a bridge in front.

Eurocar Neutral Newbie September 2, 2008 Share September 2, 2008 u got to be kidding. SG road jam becoz of slow drivers? the inherent problem is too many cars. however, i do agree with u that nowadays, the lorries and vans travel 80km/hr and sometimes even faster. technology has improved u see. Grix17 Clutched September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 I think TP should concentrate on G and Y plate vehicles speeding, not cars. Some of them have 70 km/h limit but travelling at 85-95 km/h, regardless of their size. Then they think they can drive in lane 1 or 2 like the cars. What are car drivers going to do next? Frustrations. But generally, most drivers I encounter sense the road conditions and give way when travelling slower than me on lane 1.

Super410 Neutral Newbie September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 (edited) I was travelling on Lornie Road just now in the evening. Got one long vehicle in the center lane. Long vehicle width is a bit big and it is eating into the second lane. He keep swaying left and right. My left and right cars try to over take him but cannot go thru. I was unlucky to be behind him. So with my left and right cars cannot overtake him, I also cannot move left or right. So three of us was like c.o.c.k.sters following behind this super long vehicle till the reservoir. Shouldn't long vehicle keep left? So who the hell jam up the road? Edited September 3, 2008 by Super410
Robo 2nd Gear September 3, 2008 Share September 3, 2008 i've seen one super long lorry on lane 2 ytd on ECP, mind ya it was at a 5 lane part of the e'way! i realised its very normal for all of us driving daily to encounter such suckers on the road. like for example, i work in sembawang and live in the tampines area, gf works in suntec and i have classes at nite in city hall on tuesday, thursday and friday. so u can imagine how much is my mileage every week. i meet up with such hoggers almost on a daily basis. just 45mins ago 1 slow poke grandis was doing 90km/h exact on TPE lane 1! and i guess u all will know how empty TPE is before 7am. nowadays i cant be bothered to even beam em anymore. just overtake on the left lor.. a bit dangerous lahz... but being done the right way the risk is well minimise.
