Neutral Newbie

It has been a popular belief that Mazda is poor in FC and performance. Well, I guess it is up to individual tolerance level.

However, I think that Mazda has the best and most aggressive design. Mazda 5 is coolz... [:)]

But Mazda 5 price is higher [sweatdrop]

hence u don't see many mzd5 around lo [sweatdrop][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

but this will give u some exclusivity isn't it? [sly]

Yah, but then I still see many pre-facelift Mazda 5 [:p]

Test-drived the FL Mz5 once, what held me back were

1) Engine noise can easily be heard in the cabin

2) Low-end torque is poor compared to my old Picnic

3) Lack of storage compartments in the front

4) Very small boot space when last row seats are up

5) Middle seat of 2nd row budges up, not suitable for adult (>1.7m)

6) When sliding door opens fully, it exposes a diagonal arm below (labeled "Do Not Step") which somehow reduces ease of exit compared to other MPVs with sliding-door I've tried.

7) No HID.. Mazda shouldn't stinge on this to make Mz6 attractive

8) Combination of fabric and leather material on the seat somehow make it look less up-market.

9) Low roof removes the possibility of installing ceiling LCD monitor

What I like

1) Price.. ~$80k is considered quite affordable.

2) Nice sporty overall looks

3) Wide range of exterior colors to choose from

My comment:

1) I thought the noise is very minimal liao?

6) I did not notice

7) To me, HID is good to have

8) This one, I have not have chance to see the real one yet, another cost cutting measure, I think [shakehead]

Wide range of colour? I still can not decide on one colour that I like [sweatdrop]
