bro,

sorry to hear all those problems you are having,

You mentioned an overheating problem; how bad was that?

Did the engine stall then?

Was it before this idling issue or not?

Do you have difficulty starting the engine, even occasionally?

How is the engine coolant level; stable or constantly dropping to the extent that you need to top up now and then?

Given the fact that they changed some other stuff and it didn't go away; rough idling (almost stalling) at standstill may be a sign of blown head gasket;

I had that problem after my engine had to run without water for abt 15 mins. (repair costs NOT LESS than $1500 for my w124 E200) [dead]

Maybe the CnC guys know that you are suffering from that and they are waiting until your warranty expires, so that they can chop you big time after that. [knife]

Ask them to remove the spark plugs and check if there is any water in the spark plug slots. Water in the engine block is a no no...

Yeah, they did.. The cost was around 1k [sweatdrop] I didn't pay a single cent as

my ride is still under 3years warranty..

But 1 week later it's still the same [rifle] Can't change ride like you [bigcry]

Not air-con compressor leak.. The raditor coolant pipe leak..

Coolant leaked until my ride overheated at Genting.. The pipe was loose..

Went back and complained to C&C, they secured the pipe and changed thermostat

and gasket

The answers to your qns

1. The overheating was less than 5mins. Could smell a burning smell and I stopped the car.. saw the coolant leaking.. the car didn't stall.

2. The idling issue was part of the package of the car. Reported the problem countless times already [furious]

3. I don't experience difficulty starting the engine.. Water Coolant level is stable.. The gasket was replaced by C&C after the overheating..

There's still rough idling [thumbsdown]

Well since it turned out to b a "lemon" what else can he do?

U expect him to keep driving a car in such bad condition? Sure die of stress very soon.

At the 2nd trip or I mean the first replacement, I acherly popped my bonnet and the service guy in front of me to check my compressor. It was pretty new and okay. It is only after you run the compressor for a while and u do your usual engine check once in a week during the weekend that u spot something out of the blue. [furious][wave]

=====================

I wonder if they gave u a compressor they knew was spoilt & just hoped u wil lose your patience & simply go away. [rolleyes]

OMG!!! [shocked]

wat happened to ur aircon compressor?!? [shocked] leaked?

First, got very loud sound. Sent to leng kee CnC. They say aircon filter spoilt. Serviced the whole thing. Sound is still there. Went back 2nd time. This time they say compressor spoilt. Replaced the compressor. Drive for 2 months. One Sat am, saw something leaking underneath my car. Drove to my mechanic. He checked and found compressor leaking. Next Monday am, drove to CnC. Call for workshop manager. Found that compressor got hairline leakage. Replace a 3rd compressor. Took me a total of 2 days without my CS 3 cos they claimed need 2 days to replace the compressor. [furious][smash][laugh]

THAT is sooo seriosly screwedup!! [shakehead]

I wonder if they r trying to sabo your car on purpose with so many "problems".

It cud have been something u said at the beginning that started all this nonsense.

Best solution is to g another WS & hope they dont spread the ward to hantam u kuat kuat. [sweatdrop]

If even I start to encounter my car giving more problems than usual & never seem to b problem free, I just change WS as I do know that many outside WS wil sabotage cars to make more $$$ from them.

my air-con at 1 is not strong [sweatdrop] If the whole family sits in the car I have

to switch to 2 [furious]

I always go to Leng Kee for servicing..

hmmm... maybe u wanna chk ur aircon belt?

i was blur blur driving ard wif my aircon belt loose/misaligned until my outside workshop guy heard a "psst" when he rev'ed the car and immediately knew that prob and fixed for me... [sweatdrop]

aft the belt was aligned, now even at 1 and 12o'clock for the temp, my car is cold enuff for me! [laugh]

Thanks to all who have contributed to my thread with suggestions [thumbsup]

CnC has replaced another throttlebody for my ride.. Another version from Japan

Vibrations are now minimal thanks to Andrew from the Leng Kee service centre.

Aircon is fine according to him.

Thanks once again to all [sunny]
