Climatronic users come in!

Just want to survey on how fellow users set their climatronic air con.

 

For me i usually set it to 22-23deg with recirculation mode on. Hot day, i'll set it to auto 20deg and blow for 5-10mins before turning it down with recirculation mode on.

i set e lowest all e way...bcos setting it higher don cut off e compressor as it is preset to cut off at certain deg. tats why don c e logic n use of setting it at anything above 19 deg

I got servo to seal up the recirculating valve as I was sick of smelling exhaust fumes in the car ...

 

Therefore, recirculating is on all the time... at 19degrees, fan speed 3, blowing face and leg...

 

Sometimes blowing face only (seldom) would be fan speed 1 or 2

hot days - 18 deg fan speed 4-max.

I tot recirculating mode shouldnt have outside fumes coming in right? Its a standard thingy I suppose?

think ls mentioned somewhere that his recirculation valve up lorry liao. So instead of repairing/replacing, he opt to seal it for good.

For me I permanently set to 22 degree with recirculation mode on too. Fan speed set at 2 bar. If it is on a hot day, it will auto adjust by increasing the fan speed to cool the car to 22 degree.

 

I will only adjust the temperature to colder or to higher fan speed if really necessary.

My recirculating vent was working fine.

 

Problem was... everytime I start the car ... the climatronic starts off at auto mode...

 

It was damn troublesome to have to press the recirculating mode everytime I start the car.

 

So if I forgot to press auto off... I'll be smelling exhaust fumes.

 

Therefore I got them to seal up the vent.

 

Save $$$ on replacing the damn filter as well by doing this

Me set at internal circulation/20 C/close all vents except one main vent blowing upwards....quite cool leh....cannot tahan blowing direct at me.
