Rolls Royce in a HDB carpark

we've seen it all. replicas and homages of cult symbols.

 

i-clones --> iphones,

RXW --> panerai

Lancers/Civics --> Evo/Type R

KIAS --> WRX Turbo

 

but this one takes the cake. i saw a BIG stately car in a humble carpark at serangoon north.

 

it is MITSUOKA GALUE. as i've never seen one upclose before, i went to it to admire it at close range.

 

to my surprise (or utter disgust), the owner had "converted" the whole car to RR. ROLLS-ROYCE! there is a RR emblem at the bonnet, even the rims had RR wheel caps!

 

is this paying homage to RR, or is this plain deception?

 

can the owner be sued?

My HDB open carpark got a orange Lambo but bcoz I never take pic, I dun dare to post here.

I can only find a Lotus Elise in my poor HDB area.

Here also got a S2000.

 

The old man driving the Lambo Gallardo used to drive a chilli red RX-7 then changed to a RX-8. But I guess those are just not good enough for him so he changed to the orange Lambo.

hi, i also saw that car ytd, at amk ind park 2 there, was suprised when i say the rr emblem everywhere even the rims are also RR!! it has rear tinted windows

it's a bit worse than people with harriers putting on Lexus.

this one didint even come from the same mother......

 

maybe the owner also wears a Rolax and uses ST Dupond lighter....hehhe

ya, i wonder how he did it! the next time i pass by that carpark, i'd be sure to take a pic (provided the car is around) and post here for the forummers to "admire". hehe

exactly my point. at least those cars are from the same family, or at least recognisable bread and butter cars.

 

but the Galue admittedly IS stately and looks luxurious, so the owner has a higher chance of fooling the general public with the RR badging.
