My Suzie SX4 suspension is a strange creature. Over road humps (i.e. sleeping policemen) it is okay. BUT! over a sharp bump in the road, the suspension macham rock hard. BAM! As if no shock absorbers like that.

 

How? Is it because the shock absorbers are lousy? If I wanted to change, would it void my warranty? If won't void, how much would a set of decent shock absorbers cost? (I'm not rolling in money).

i think most of the shocks cannot withstand sharp bump.

 

 

just try to avoid the sharp bump on the road or slow down.

Also check your tire pressure. Many pple like to pump harder than recommended.

 

The main cause is the un-sprung weight is quite high which cause the slow reaction of your suspension. Very normal.
