Hmmmm.... Read alot of positive feedbacks and reviews on the CTR.

If i am not wrong, the CTR is by far the most successful Type R based on the feedbacks and it seems many many many people like it.

Kudos to Honda!!! [nod]

Legendary, cayman ah, you the (cay) man! [sweatdrop] lousy pun

i voted for rx8, for very personal reasons, personal (please dont flame, just my own thoughts):

CTR - i like the fd civic, refined and luxurious, almost bridging into camry/accord/cefiro territory, then come along the CTR, which looks almost like the 1.6/1.8/2.0 fd, but is a totally different monster; stripped bare of creature comforts, and can go like hell (heck, its a type R ma..) thats what rubbed me the wrong way, fd is a nice middle-class refined thing, and here comes a vulgar upstart

(i think my dislike is based purely that they share almost the same body/appearance--insult to the fd)

wrx - the old sedan still ok, i feel the new impreza hatch (sti or not, wrx or 1.5 whatever), is a not here not there hatch, not small as in a compact (jazz, swift), but also no presence (compared to the size of a 308 pug or golf), and further more now come out the i30 hyundai, from far all same, the hatch impreza is not cutting it man, not at all

rx8 - never thought about it before, but by elimination, this is my vote; just a nice stock condition rx8, no mods, no dress up, no rubbish body simi lj kit, and especially no aftermarket sport rims--stock 16" is good enough, or even steel rim with hub caps also can, cos the wheels dont make the car, the car is the car, thats all it is (come to think of it, all this dress-up not only rx8 but all cars in sg included, stinks of a rice boy culture, serves no point, but just in my opinion);

back to topic, just a simple stock rx8, refinement reasonable, power adequate, looks unique enough, sold

1.3 rotary how bad the fc? 7 km/l? 8+? can live with that, afterall its supposed to be a performance car?

pardon for the long post, and opinions, those are purely personal, just my taste/liking, dont flame please;

vote: rx8

hi bro.

i m not very good at giving feedback abt cars but personally i feel that the car give u very good balance round corners and a very good feed back on the road, it make you enjoy driving even more. although it not the fastest car on the road but is very enaging to drive not to mention the vtec coming on while you high rev away. the built for the car is pretty good, a notch up frm the normal civic. gear box is prettty smooth juz like other honda car. the main issue with most ppl for this car is the shocks, which is pretty hard for normal ride but i m use to it as i use to have coilovers in the previous car. maintenance wise is pretty much the same for na car, so nothing to worry abt.

the car can only take 98ron, as in japan the spec is 100ron, so pls take note. cheers.

ps. yr avator is dc5r. you should know abt vtec cars more then me! hahahahatongue.gif

Heard the CTR is an improved version of the ITR...

Anyway i have sold my ITR...

Miss the Vtec days... but turbo is also very addictive...

Turbo is like Kissing.... U bed a girl 1st thing is u kiss...

Vtec is like orgasm.... It comes at the point when u are going to burst!!!

So kissing and orgasm which is better? [laugh]

i like the old design of your old ITR...

but among your 3 choices,i would rank

1)CTR - common,but nice design(looks nice too)[sunny]

2)RX8 - not so common now,nice sporty design(but you already owned ITR before,do you still need this design??) [:/]

3)STI - too common,everywhere is subaru [dead]

cheers!!

Hmm if u let me choose all over again, I'd probably still go for the RX8. But then again, it's more for the looks and the amazing sound of the rotary than anything else.

Outright power, the 8 may not be the best among your choices, but then again it's of a different classification due to the 1.3 rotary. FC is terrible, I'm doing 6 to 7plus max per litre. Then again, no other car allows you to redline it every gear without feeling afraid that u may bust the engine [laugh] Just feel guilty that you're not being economical with the rising fuel prices [lipsrsealed]
