Opinion on APR Remap

Yes, we have APR's Stage 1 upgrade for the Skoda Superb. You can expect gains that will come up to 210bhp and 320Nm of torque. Stock performance is 150bhp and 210Nm of torque. The remap will fix the flat spot flaw found in all 20-valve 1.8T engines which occurs between 2000 - 2500RPM.

With this upgrade, you might also want to consider changing your diverter valve to a more durable unit as the increased boost pressure will cause the original (plastic) valve to wear out much faster than usual. APR's R1 diverter valve is priced at $580 but you will never need to replace it again as it will probably outlast your car.

Apart from the performance program, if your car is fitted with cruise control, you might want to consider the various program options available. These are at additional cost and the available options include:

1) Dual/Triple/Quad program switching

2) Fault Code Erase/Throttle Body Adaptation

3) Security Lockout

4) Anti-Theft (security lockout is mandatory for this option)

The above options can be selected using the cruise control buttons.
