Your preference for office work leather shoes. Pointed (not pointy) or rounded front? I prefer the pointed kind. Usually will just grab 2 pairs when taka or tangs or metro have sales.

DrM also not getting any cheaper. The new ones now cost S$180. It used to be S$130, then S$160. I am wearing DrM all the time. Each pair last about 3 to 5 years then the sole split. Once the sole split, cannot replace.

And ya, only DrM has my shoe size, US14, UK13, EUR48.

Ah the price point is not bad.

Thought it was like those 200+ dollar types.

Just bought another pair of shoes from Earnest Collective... highly recommended if you prefer to shop for shoes online.

this is the one I bought recently:

yes, the quality is those 200+ type at 100+ price point free delivery.

if you wait for promos which is quite frequent, you can get a pair at 90-105 after discount.  I always wait for promo before buying...never paid $129 before  :D

They are quite good quality leather.

IMHO, if you want the shoe to hold up the structure well overtime, the leather cannot be too soft or it will loss it's shape. On the other hand, cannot be to hard that it 'beats' your feet. I will say their leather is a good compromise.

I used to wear a pair of leather shoes day in day out till they are worn out before changing. And they wears and looks scruffy pretty fast.

Now I have 3 pairs to rotate on 1-2 days basis to allow the leather to 'rest' and breath to keep them lasting longer. So far it's been 6 months using this method and all 3 pairs are holding up well. Just need to polish and nourish the leather every month or so.
