Leepee 1st Gear July 10, 2008 Share July 10, 2008 There you go....this is the standard reply from HDB. Your Ref : Our Ref : Date : 6 May 2008 TEL : 64778856 FAX : EMAIL : sr12@hdb.gov.sg Dear Mr XXX Please refer to your email of 30 April 2008 concerning the above Notice of Intended Prosecution. 2 We wish to inform you that HDB takes a serious view of illegal parking along the service roads (including loading/unloading bay) is only access to the residential blocks for essential and emergency vehicles (eg, the ambulances, fire engines and refuses trucks). It is therefore important that the service roads are free from obstruction at all times. HDB considers it as a serious offence for residents to park illegally at any part of a service road. Enforcement action will be taken against those who park illegally along the service roads under the Housing & Development (Common Property &Open Spaces) Rules. 3 In view of your explanation and the circumstances of your case, we have decided to exercise flexibility and waived the Notice of Intended Prosecution. We seek your co-operation to park your vehicle at designated parking lots in future. Yours sincerely (Signed) SUKINAH RISWAN (MS) ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVE f. Gbsm Neutral Newbie July 10, 2008 Author Share July 10, 2008 Its not my intention to park in a Loading/Unloading bay to avoid coupon. My situation is like I drop my daughter in tuition class nearby and come back home. After 45 mins I go back again to pick her. Just for that, I need to Park in MSCP, walk back then go again.. really troublesome esp if it is raining...

Leepee 1st Gear July 10, 2008 Share July 10, 2008 (edited) 45mins....if you are lucky that area no one complain and the fatimah does not care, then you can park there everyday for 10 years, you will not get any summon. I was parking at the same loading/unloading bay for the past 5 years, and only this April kena summoned! KNN. I wrote in to appeal and got the waiver. I still park there daily, to pick up my daughter and wife. 1) Has anyone appeal successfully for the same parking offence the second or third time? 2) How long does HDB keeps past offence records? 1 year, 3 years or Forever?
