What's the pt of complaining and grumbling and not spent the time to make more money? If cannot afford, dun drive. It's not as though one is forced to drive through the ERP..., What are public transport for? People shd never take car ownership for granted anyway. It should be treated as a luxury. What's wrong with at the end of the day only the rich can drive? Their annual tax amount is probably more than the avg singaporean's annual income anyway. They did not complain, why are so many avg ppl complaining?

SPEND time make more $$? but if u look at the progressive tax, the more u earn, the likely more u will b tax heavily as a middle crazz b it GST or personal income tax, unless u cross tat threshold of some $300K a year (just guessing). I think likely u will suffer more.

If your income exceed $320K, every dolar you earn, 20 cents goes to tax. Yah you are right, someone who is being taxed 10 times more doesn't mean that he earn 10 times more But still i don't see how that will stop one from trying to earn more. One should not be scared of paying taxes. Would u rather be in the position to pay $30k a year or $3k a year?

Not only that, that area had the highest concentration of petrol kiosk!

 

From Performace Motors onwards, got esso, caltex etc all the way up !

 

They are not afraid of competition coz those fellas garage of cars need them .
