I've already source out ADSM to customise the air vent in the bonnet today.

how long it take? u do vent only or got ridge the bonnet?

might be wise to check if it is legal... cos improper cutting of holes can lead to structural deficiency of your bonnet which is part of your car's crumble zone.

legal one lah...

 

crumble zone is when the bumper set in, duwan any foreign object to push down the crankcase, which sud b lifted upwards as the front chasis crushes in and upward. so driver legs will not b trapped.

 

if worry, the only think is the bonnet lock, dun suay suay bonnet fly up and smash the front screen.

 

so far only 1 case involve CS3 happen.

is it? cos i know cutting of bonnet to fix an air scoop for ram air is illegal unless the bonnet is specifically designed for it (eg: WRX/YRV turbo etc)

What do u mean ridge the bonnet?

 

It will take about more than 2 days and can be collected on Friday evening but i will only be free to collect it on Sat morning.

The vent hole is customised on the area which is not the strong skeleton structure, so is sure safe one.

So far has checked thru the LTA guidelines on modification of car, it did not mention anything about cutting vent hole on the bonnet.
