Estrangable 5th Gear July 5, 2008 Share July 5, 2008 with our favorable exchange rates, currently at 2.37 and the relatively substantial number of refilling stations in JB, has anyone tot of converting their petrol cars to CNG in JB? the cost is ard 3k ringgit that makes to ard 1.3k in Sing. one key is about 70 sens, which is like 32 cents in sing.. it does make sense to do the conversion in JB! Any tots on this? will there be problem with the LTA inspection as well. ↡ Advertisement

Estrangable 5th Gear July 5, 2008 Author Share July 5, 2008 just go to the cng community website in malaysia...u can see the pricing and workshops quite cheap plus the excahnge rate is so favorable now.... if can, i intend to install one. the rate is 2.37 and it has been increasing over the weeks...with the turmoil in malaysia, 2.5 is possible. if u do the maths, things are really cheap.
