yup...DBS ESSO FTW!  upfront the discount comes.  Somemore, just opp my hoouse summore.....

Ya bros, totally agreed; previously supported Citi Div cos I had this card for few years already and their rebates besides petrol were quite ok, 2% for restaurants and supermarkets which includes Cold Storage and Giant but since they want to chut pattern, i'm out!

I had applied and start using the DBS Esso mastercard since citibank change their term & condition for the dividend.

No worth it anymore.

y wld u not consolidate all payment to 1 card if it gives the best rebate?

Unless you very sure you can sign $888 or more, otherwise the whole month's efforts come to nothing. Imagine signing up to $800 and you can't qualify and get the miserly 0-25% rebate-boh huah!

the minimum spend is not the issue but the monthly cashback cap of $25 per category (dining, groceries and petrol) is

i will easily exceed $888 for these 3 categories monthly and if spend more than ~$300 per category, the extra spending does not earn any more cash back hence lowering the cashback %

be aware

:D

when effective? I just receive sms from Citibank say they credited $60 to my acocung

So now I just go for upfront rebates ... POSB for SPC, Maybank Family and Friends for Cold Storage and NTUC.

I've switched to just using the POSB everyday for both NTUC (3%) and SPC (5%) and dining out (5%) instead of using the F&F for NTUC.

Cos POSB u just hit $500 retail spend can liao. Which is easy with petrol, groceries and eating out

However with maybank F&F, u need to hit 5% just purely with NTUC/CS. Not easy unless u have a big family and cook a lot.

Maybank CC only has advantage in malaysia, otherwise no other point in using the F&F

cancelled my Citibank ages ago.
