Damienic 5th Gear July 4, 2008 Share July 4, 2008 True. But the key is that Dividend Card no points. DBS Esso/ Citi Platinum Esso still have points that can be utilised, right? But citibank credit card have lots more tie ups with other merchants which is useful..

Spring Moderator October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 CITI dividend card just last month changed their terms n conditions to have a minimum spend before u entitled to their rebates which admittedly are attractive. However, I got an email from them yesterday with a link attached which never mentioned anything about this minimum spend, so which is which? https://www.citibank.com.sg/gcb/credit_cards/dividend-card.htm?ecid=EMOWNSGCBUEN9Z01

Mkl22 Supersonic October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 cancelled my dividend card. have not been using it for the past almost 2years. this was my 1st credit card. much better offers from other cards now. the terms and conditions for dividend are also getting silly. so cut it up and return.
Dafansu Turbocharged October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 I think Citibank is the best card now with the most rebates, provided every month you can hit $888
Kangadrool Supersonic October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 (edited) best card is still POSB Everyday if you don't want to sweat over the small stuff/targets/KPIs/etc. All spends got rebates; more more less less add up many many Everyday$$$ which don't expire (hope it continues so).... Sometimes, want to buy certain things too expensive, use the Everyday$$$ to offset purchase = less heart pain/"foc". Mcscot 5th Gear October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 I have been with the Citi Divi card for years until they chose to have this silly rule min spend etc etc. I have voted with my wallet and have stopped using the card for petrol! I have started using the DBS ESSO!

The front page of the site only mentioned the goodies as expected Yeah, credit card ads are like that one. Will tell you x% rebate big big, but later then in font size 5 tell you subject to minimum spend of $xxx per month per quarter etc ... Once I happily used my HSBC and ANZ credit cards at Cold Store cos at cashier got sticker say got rebate ... months later no rebate then I read the fine print with my old flower eyes and found out the T&Cs ... So now I just go for upfront rebates ... POSB for SPC, Maybank Family and Friends for Cold Storage and NTUC.
Enye Hypersonic October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 the minimum spend is not the issue but the monthly cashback cap of $25 per category (dining, groceries and petrol) is i will easily exceed $888 for these 3 categories monthly and if spend more than ~$300 per category, the extra spending does not earn any more cash back hence lowering the cashback % be aware
Showster Twincharged October 29, 2015 Share October 29, 2015 Very true. I have this Manhattan card that gives cash rebates in the following quarter, and met the spending to qualify for the rebates of I think maybe $200-300 or more. Then they put in the annual fee of maybe $200 in the current quarter. When I called to ask for waiver, they say my card not eligible for waiver. So I have a choice to cancel the card (and give up the rebates), or to LL take it forward another year. 算你厉害。。。 Yeah, credit card ads are like that one.
