Same sentiments with me exactly but fret not,engine is still the same despite the Forte has better tuning and a nicer overall look than somewhat very dated Cerato V2.

creato v2 is still a good car. when the new forte starts selling here, i think CNC will price it at a very very high price.

The costs of Forte development exceeded $200 million and it took the company 29 months to to bring the car from the paper to the showrooms. .

 

Wasn't it not the same when they 1st launched the current Cerato? Claimed spent million of R&D and etc.

 

The current Sonata has good look but the interior is not at par with its exterior. Hope to see world class interior and good performance specification. Again, price perception will be a challenge for Korean made.

Sonata's interior not at par? But I've sat on a Sonata and seriously IMO I find the opposite that the exterior not on par with interior. The car is so compfy and quiet and leather seats are top grade...definately better than Camry and such.

 

Hope you not comparing it with the Sonata taxis those taxi's with cheap trims are so different from the actual car.
