Actually, I prefer the design of the new Altis to the old one.

 

The new altis had a more organic contours while this kia has more chiseled lines like the JDM accords.

 

If the Kia KOUP Concept ever make it to production, I hope some PI bring it in.

Precisely ... there are some good Hyundais and Kias out there ... look at the spec the AD brings in ;

and PI have absolutely no interest in them coz if bring in higher spec'ed models, cost more than AD, how to sell.

 

And the local AD is so slow in bringing in the new models.

if PI bring this in, i may wanna consider. C&C got crappy engine oil policy, they dun allow BYO engine oil, force people to use lousy EO that they use.

Anyway, it is normal for corean cars to follow design cues from the current trend setters... i30 looks like (you make a guess), this forte looks like (look at my avatar).

think the coreans designers do not borrow only a bit of idea from the Allion design... Think they openly copy almost the whole thing .

 

Actually had heard so much hype about Kia Forte since last year... so that is the hype.
