Chisiang 2nd Gear July 3, 2008 Author Share July 3, 2008 (edited) The rest of the photos you all got it right le. As for the techniques involved, some of you got it partially right. Only the 1st is purely HDR. The rest are not entirely HDR, more like HDR process with exaggerated tone mapping techniques to achieve a surreal feel. There's a lot of people who hated this techniques and termed them Radioactive HDR crap. That's why in the first place I never name them HDR just to avoid such conflicts. Chisiang 2nd Gear July 3, 2008 Author Share July 3, 2008 spot on. but except for the 1st, the rest I wouldn't give them HDR names... sure kena flame.
Chisiang 2nd Gear July 3, 2008 Author Share July 3, 2008 Quote How come spore sky like that?? I stay here for almost 3 decades also nv seen such sky before ha ha... that's the beauty of merging a HDR photo. Merged HDR photo can capture sky details, but even so, without strong tone mapping, will still not be visible. Our sky has always been like this, just that our eye can't see without the help of computer enhancement by tone mapping.

Chisiang 2nd Gear July 3, 2008 Author Share July 3, 2008 just take it easy... if this week is the worst in your life, it could mean that next week can't be any worst any more go to the place in the 1st photo. I always like to have some beer and feel the sea breeze... it's very quiet in the afternoon. You can read a book or just stare blankly into the sea

Chisiang 2nd Gear July 3, 2008 Author Share July 3, 2008 Quote Surreal it may seems... But too much HDR processing just looks way too fake for me..... I never wanted it to look real in the first place It's not HDR processing. Only the first photo which is more HDR. The rest are tone mapping.
