We are going on a free & easy holiday in the states.

Heard that domestic flights can be a nightmare of delayed and cancelled flights.

Any good advice for us, especially from airticket booking to check-in to boarding the flight?

So far I flew few times within CA and from AZ to CA. Touch wood all no problem. [;)]

If you go early, you may even fly earlier available flight. [thumbsup]

Things to take note is the check-in luggage. Very strict on the weight. Unless you willing to pay $$ [sweatdrop]

Turbocharged

Get travel insurance. You will get compensated if you flight is delayed. The airlines will also compensate you should you get bumped off the flight. Compensation can be in the form of cash and/or hotel stay and meals or all 3 mentioned.

yes, domestic airline can go airport and ask for earlier flight, most pple does tat but no guarantee u will get seat.

one thing though, dun expect international level of food serving.

the flight steward, some blury gorilla will hand u a plastic cup and pour mineral water for u. and if u r lucky, u get biscuits as well.. lolz.

passengers r generally very orderly, not like some china flights...

bon voyage!

thanks apollo,

we booked 4 domestic flights already. 2 direct with Delta and 2 thru Zuji,SG(because Continental Airlines dun accept SG credit card).

I tot Zuji is reputable and good but their Customer Care is almost non existence.

Call their hotline for whole day but no one pick up phone other than the automated voice "Your call is very important to us......"

[:(][:(][:(]

hope Zuji dun screw up on us.
