I think manual cars a less prone to "hit the gas instad of brake" type of mistakes. Because manual cars just hitting gas alone is not enough, have to engage clutch. And when people kan cheong spider, panic, more likely than not they stall the car.

Manual is best nod.gifnod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

not true. In any case, Best is subjective.

Both auto and manual have pros and cons.

Was over there at lunch time.

The vaspa owner was there, waiting for a tow truck to come.

He was sanguine about it and glad that no one was at the motorcycle area when the accident happened.

From the way I look at it, the front steering frame is broken, aka bike is a total lost. But he was hopeful to get some compensation from the car owner. (I doubt it, and he will definately have to go thru the insurance claims, which will take years!)

He would have to claim the repair cost of his bike from the insurance. Seriously I don't think insurance will allow him to claim more than 'market-value' of the bike. Felt so sad for him to 'lose' a classic Vaspa bike to this accident.

(edited)

or is it because the driver forgotten to pull his handbrake? 'somehow' gravity pulled the car down the ramp..

then passerbys then put the piece of note on his windscreen?

Wow... A CNG OPC car.

This driver must be really desperate to own a car.

Exactly! That was what came to my mind. [sly]
